Coronado versus Harvey
Orange County Board of Education President Gloria Coronado deserves a medal for bravery.
President Coronado "spoke truth to power" (as the Left loves to say when they insult those with whom they disagree) by pointing out the truth:
"I don't understand how Harvey Milk could have a day before people like Ronald Reagan (R) or Pat Brown (D) who did so much more for California.."
Coronado went on to make the perfectly reasonable observation that:
" I don't know how this is a civil rights issue. I don't know when a homosexual was forced to sit in the back of the bus like Rosa Parks..."
One thing you can be sure of is that Coronado will face the ire of those who consider the mildest disagreement with their political agenda "hate."
The Orange County Register (predictably) described her observations as "insulting."
ELVISNIXON would like to know how it is an insult to point out that Harvey Milk deserves a day of recognition less than Obama deserves a Nobel Peace Prize?
