No, the entire point is to introduce young children to adult sexuality as soon as kindergarten.  The point is to glorify homosexuals as victims and heroes to impressionable young minds.

The Left is very big on what they call "teachable moments."

Remember Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates petulant verbal attacks on the white police officers?  President Obama called the cops "stupid" on national TV and then in a classic misdirection move called for a "beer summit" on the White House lawn.

The purported goal? A "teachable  moment," but what was taught ?  As near as I can tell, the message was that those in power can play the race card at will and that blue collar police officers must put up or shut up.

What is to be taught to children on Harvey Milk day?  Will it be an expose of the dark side of the homosexual lifestyle? 

To the degree that Columbus is discussed at all in schools, it is used as opportunity to rehearse the litany of grievances the Left has with Christianity and Western Civilization. Columbus' personal shortcomings are relentlessly dragged out into the light and his most vocal detractors are given a soapbox to denounce him in the interest of giving an "objective" message to the children. 

Will the same standard apply to Harvey Milk Day?

Will there be references to the health-care cataclysm ignited because of unsanitary practices in "gay" bath houses?  Will there be a full and frank discussion of the fact that NAMBLA (the North American Man-Boy Love Association)  was regularly featured marching in "gay PRIDE" parades into the 1990s?  Will teachers reveal Harvey Milk's contribution to the SFPD turning a blind eye to the abuse of young boys by older men as a part of the "gay" subculture of male prostitution?   Will the myth of a heterosexual AIDS epidemic be revealed?   Will kids learn that the CDC has found that the majority of homosexuals were victims of abuse by adults?

Why do they seek to force themselves on groups like the Boy Scouts of America and now California schoolchildren?

Harvey Milk  helped spark the cry of "hate" and "ignorant bigot" against those who sought to curtail the widespread excesses of his group. This legacy is metastasizing today with riots and intimidation of supporters of traditional, Biblical marriage.

Certainly, the universal goal of "gay" groups is to lower the age of consent.  Can it be that the goal of Harvey Milk Day is propaganda and recruitment?  What other possible goal do they have?
