When South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson called Obama on his lies (He called Obama a "liar" during a speech while Obama was lying) he was subject to a media firestorm.  He promptly and personally apologized to Obama for pointing out the fact that Obama was a liar.

The Joker, nemesis of Batman,  AKA Nancy Pelosi tightly grimaced through her frozen face and proceeded to censure him 

When Orlando, Fla Democrat Alan Grayson called a woman a "whore," it was promptly dismissed by millionairess Katie Couric, and Webster was consulted to excuse the slur. They it seem to feel the term acceptable when it refers to a Capital Hill KStreet lobbyist.

Let's do a little compare and contrast shall we? When shock jock Don Imus (who dared anger Bill Clinton in halcyon days of yore) called basketball players "nappy headed ho's," it was a national outrage and worthy of national headlines in the NY Times and the Washington Post.  He was quickly shuffled off and was not seen nor heard from until he had paid his very public penance.

What is going on here?

Insulting words are OK if a Liberal is doing the insulting.

What about NFL player Larry Johnson? Just using a term described by left of center ESPN as "homophobic" cost him $600,000 and a suspension from the NFL.  A google search for Mr. Johnson's "thought crime" reveals that he said a "gay slur," no further explanation

So a wealthy white man can call a woman a "whore" but not even an African American (same as Obama, well half of Obama) can use a slang term for a homosexual ?
