Of Wages, "Hate" Speech and CNN
"CNN's Lou Dobbs resigns," shouted the headline. The last of the original cable networks anchors announced in the middle of his show that he is quitting.
Dobbs populist stance was at odds with those of his corporate masters. He stood as a voice crying in the wilderness against the tidal wave of illegal immigration in this country. The chamber of commerce loves illegal alien, cheap labor. Cheap labor is the crack cocaine of big government capitalism. Lest you begin to think that ELVISNIXON is some sort of Van Jones/Michelle Obama left-wing crackpot, let me explain.
Once upon a time in America, a man could work and his wife could stay home and raise children. Notice the use of the term "could."
It was an option. The feminists lobbied to end this era of just wages for heads of households. They did so in conjunction with multinational corporations and the governmental elites whose programs facilitate the "change" that leftists believe in.
These companies are not gung-ho, free-market advocates. They are all for big government. Big government loves big business, and vice versa. By forcing both parents to work the government has more access to the kids.
Remember our beloved Secretary of State's famous book It Takes a Village , the idea being that it is not parents who should raise kids, but the leviathan state that should train the next generation up in the gospel of "gay" marriage, Marxism, identity politics, environmental extremism, etc.
As any thinking person knows, it takes a village to raise an idiot. It takes a mom and dad to raise a child. "Give me baby," says the government, "and I will own that kid's worldview for life." We see this in the Richmond rape case. We see this in the ignorance/arrogance of the MTV generation.
How can the government force this set of permanent low-wage circumstances? The economic laws enunciated by Adam Smith in 1776 still hold true: supply and demand. The more wage slaves available, the less opportunity for higher wages. Why not go on strike? The are literally millions waiting to replace you. Increase the number of unskilled laborers, and those at the bottom can never move up to the American dream, which includes a middle-class life. The middle class (as Aristotle pointed out) is inherently conservative. Conservative people don't go in for wild governmental makeovers of the economy, gender roles, cultural norms and other pet projects of our elites in academia, the media and multinational corporations. Corporations are no longer for Mom, apple pie and the good old US of A? Look at Brookstone, a medium sized company that just fired a man for having the temerity to express his belief that homosexuality is a sin. Where is the Left's beloved separation of church and state? It doesn't apply when it contradicts any of their sacred cows because the state can impose its values in the workplace via "hate" speech laws.
Illegal immigrants are a fundamental piece to the breakdown of the Christian American majority. Look at the insane statements of Army chief of staff George Casey that losing "diversity" would be a greater tragedy than murdering 14 Americans (including a pre-born child) at Fort Hood. In this madhouse of political correctness, a man like Lou Dobbs simply HAD to go.
ELVIS NIXON's guess is that he will pull a Glenn Beck, end up on FOX, and roar to his highest ratings ever. Of course, that is until Attorney General Eric Holder, at the behest of "Latino groups" (i.e. Marxists like MeCHA and LULAC), shuts the whole operation down as a "hate crime."

Cogent! Excellently written! And, overtly sound!
