Our local news is continuing its outrageous propaganda campaign by hiding the facts of a cop killer. Their unrelenting drumbeat of hatred against U.S. citizens requires us to research these incendiary statements for ourselves.

Deputy David March was murdered by an illegal alien drug dealer. Our local news omitted important facts of this outrageous story because of the same suicidal attitudes of political correctness that allowed jihadi Nidal Hasan to commit murder while an officer in the U.S. Army. No news coverage was given about the murder of an American peace officer, but major coverage was given to the out of context remarks by Santa Clarita Councilman Bob Kellar, a veteran councilman who has twice served as the city’s mayor,

Bob Kellar had dared to speak out against the crimes of the illegal alien "community." At a Jan. 16 anti-illegal immigration rally in Santa Clarita, Kellar referred to a statement made by President Theodore Roosevelt, noting that the United States has a place for only one flag and one language. Kellar said those remarks caused some people to accuse him of being racist, to which he replied that if believing in America causes people to believe that he is racist, “then I’m a proud racist.” I wish all councilmen in every city in the country would stand up for the law, as Kellar has.

It never ceases to amaze me that whenever a person speaks intelligently about the subject of illegal immigration, he is branded a racist. It seems to me that when the Left lacks intelligent arguments on the subject, it always falls back on that old canard. "Chato" Garcia, first shot Officer March in broad daylight in the chest, under his armpit, and finished him with a fatal gunshot wound to his head and yet we are afraid of hurting the feelings of these illegal alien criminals who have no right to be here in the first place.

After the media widely misrepresented his statements as if he were stating that he is a "proud racist" and that was the entirety of his remarks, there was a firestorm of Leftist outrage at the out of context hyperbole. Those who live in his community know better. The mother of murdered Police Officer David March came out boldly in support of Kellar as well as hundreds of others who packed the city’s council chambers to praise him for speaking out on an issue many residents find frustrating. Kellar, unlike the illegal alien murderer/drug dealer, is a U.S. Army veteran who served 25 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. Kellar told attendees at Tuesday’s meeting that he was a proud American who was critical of the failure of the federal government to tackle illegal immigration, which burdens the nation.

“Illegal immigration is a problem for all Americans, and we need to do our part to address it,” Kellar said. “If we are to remain a nation of laws, we must respect those laws.”

Let's review: Illegal alien Garcia boasted ( in espanol) of killing Deputy March . He had previously vowed to kill any police officer who tried to arrest him.Illegal alien Garcia fled to Mexico within hours of killing Deputy March and would still be hiding there except for his hubris and dedicated law enforcement work that captured the Mexican national. Nothing was said about this by (illegal) "Immigrants Rights" groups nor the news media but they did give prominence to the complaints of the illegal aliens.

Of course our local CBS, NBC and ABC affiliates did not cover the cop killer angle of the story, nor did they mention the enormous outpouring of support for Kellar at the council meeting. They chose to cover a radical Mexican group led by Juan Jose Gutierrez, demanding that Kellar be fired and that no apology would be accepted. Members of theFull Rights for Immigrants Coalition, and other illegal-immigrant support groups, held signs saying “Fire ‘proud racist’ Bob Keller (sic) now!”

The good news? Bob Kellar refused to apologize.
