When you join the military, you give up many of the rights enjoyed in civilian life. Someone will order you to change your sleeping schedule, your physical activities, your hairstyle, diet and even your safety. This seems fairly obvious to all except people on the extreme left, such as Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi and Michelle and Barack Obama.

In exchange for giving up your rights, there is an unspoken contract that the US military will respect the values of the family that raised you. The purpose of the military is to fight and destroy the enemy, not to destroy and rebuild the politics, morality or religion of the soldiers.

The entire purpose of Obama's latest plan is to do just that -- socially re-engineer the naturally conservative constituency of our all volunteer armed forces.

Obama's groveling generals have already shown that they are willing to sacrifice the lives of our brave men and women in the name of "political correctness." The career bureaucrats who wear stars on their shoulders have shown that career advancement trumps common sense as evidenced by the treasonous and moronic statement of  General George Casey that the greatest loss would be to lose "diversity."  What a callous and thoughtless remark to make after 40+ soldiers were wounded and over a dozen killed at Fort Hood.  The great tragedy is the deaths of these courageous people. Diversity?  These are the words of a bureaucrat, a man who cares more about advancing his career than the well being of those under his command.  His statement is certain to cause pain to the survivors.>>after the Ft Hood slaying.

Look at Obama's selfish speech following the attacks in which he failed to use the term "jihad" or "Islam" even once.

LT. Colonel Oliver North, a combat veteran points out the charade of the Obama Administration's wanton disregard for our troops safety at the behest of his homosexual donors: "Unasked and unanswered are “where do we go from here” questions the Senators should have posed:
     If Congress changes the law and allows overt, practicing homosexuals in the ranks, should NAMBLA members be allowed to serve? Will those who advocate abolishing “age of consent” laws be allowed to don a uniform? Will the military have to acknowledge “same sex marriages?” Will military chaplains be required to perform such rituals? Will “same-sex couples” be entitled to military housing? Will these “couples” be allowed to serve in the same unit or aboard the same ship?
     Congress should not wait to decide this issue and become party to potentially irreparable damage to our military. Congress controls the purse strings of the Pentagon. Both houses should go on record now so “We The People” know who favors treating America’s Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Guardsmen, and Marines like lab rats in Mr. Obama’s radical social experiment."

Do we think for a minute that the Human Rights Campaign, National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, North American Man/Boy Love Association and every other advocacy group for perversion will not leap to demand "fair treatment," and "equal opportunity" and fabricate grievances to accomplish their mission?

Look at what political correctness has caused! General Boykin was driven out while Nidal Hasan was promoted. Does that make our servicemen and women or our country safer? Of course not – and even beyond the corrosive impact on the military readiness is the elimination of moral standards in another vital institution.

As Dave Welch, father of an active duty US Marine, points out: "the fact is that our military is a direct function of "We the People" and our government, and it is an unfortunate necessity in a fallen, sin-filled world just like the rest of governing authority. The "Just War Theory" developed by St. Augustine provided what has been the biblical rationale for nations to act to protect their citizens using force and also the limitations on the proper use of that force.
     Without moral restraint such as the church and biblical teachings have provided over the centuries, when followed – the military becomes a tyrant and a terror for those who do good and an instrument of those who do evil. History and modernity are filled with those examples.
     Moral order and respect for authority are essentials to a functioning military within the parameters we believe given by God, articulated by Augustine and affirmed by this nation since our birth. It has been understood that destruction of the codes of conduct, the concept of chain of command and elimination of swift discipline for violation of essential standards of behavior will destroy the order of the military itself – just as it will for every other institution of importance such as marriage, family, church and civil government."

When we honor God in our lives and our institutions, we can depend on His blessing and favor against our enemies. When we reject Him, we remove ourselves from under His sovereign hand, and tyranny, bondage and military defeat are our rewards.

It is time that men in particular, and parents in general, send a strong message to the White House that we will not allow this president or his allies on the Left in Congress, media and Hollywood to further jeopardize the security of the nation, the moral foundations of our society and the safety those serving their country

People like Obama are hypocrites. They care nothing for our safety or national sovereignty. As Police Chief Jim Kouri points out "While military officials overseas are taking a common sense approach to securing the border of war-torn Afghanistan, officials -- including President Barack Obama -- here in the United States appear indifferent to the crisis occurring on our own border with gang-infested, politically-corrupt Mexico, as well as our porous northern border with Canada.

U.S. government officials — under both Bush and Obama — denigrate American citizens who volunteer to help the U.S. Border Patrol -- often calling them “vigilantes” or “racists” -- and yet those same U.S. government understand that in order for fledgling nation of Afghanistan to survive, it must protect its sovereignty from external threats including terrorism and crime."

The same holds true for "gays" in the military. Corrupt Chicago politician Obama is doing this as a payoff to his patrons and people like Barney Frank. He does not care about our national security or the best interests of our soldiers. This is a tool to force his narrow-minded, anti-Christian bigotry onto the soldiers in the same way that he is attempting to brainwash young schoolchildren stuck in mandatory government schools.
