California Republicans need to understand that Obama has created the perfect storm with his arrogance and tone deaf politics. 

This is the year to nominate your best, which, in my book, means the conservative slate for all offices. Like 1994, this is the year when Republicans who might otherwise lose are going to beat Democrats large and small. There is no need to temporize or vote for your second choice.

Simply put, Republicans: this is the year your first choice can win — but only if nominated. 

California Republican voters would be making a mistake of historic proportions if they did not vote their consciences. And that means voting for the conservative primary candidate, up and down the ballot.

The Democrats are looking toward November with fear and loathing. GOP voters are in a position to give them something really to be frightened of.
