Judeo-Christian...Islamic Country?

Recent polls show that over one fifth of all Americans believe Barrack Obama to be a closet Muslim. Managed "mainstream media" promptly slammed the very notion instead of asking the obvious question, "Why do Americans believe that about their President?"

The blatant favoritism shown by Obama to Islam is certainly one reason that people suspect his loyalties. His own remarks in his two autobiographies clearly state that he would "side with Islam" over Christians and the white side of his family. Obama's deep hatred for Israel may make one wonder. Obama hosting Ramadan festivals and observing Koranic dietary laws is yet another curious fact.

In an effort to grasp the unreasonable attitudes and actions of Mr. Obama and his media sycophants, Elvisnixon recommends the following:

As recently as the early 1990's, it was widely understood that the United States was a Christian nation, which is to say one founded primarily by Christians and imbued with a Christian value system.

The term Judeo-Christian was used in an effort to clarify the fact that the Founders did not explicitly require church membership or an official national church (as is found in England, Scotland, Sweden, etc.) merely that one subscribe to certain basic moral principles found in both the Old Testament and the New.

With the rise of homosexual activists, pagan earth worshipers, Muslims and strident atheists it became "politically incorrect" to acknowledge these historical truths.

Obama himself has made the claim that we are not a Christian nation.  (He said this, no surprise, before a muslim audience.)

The fundamental key to understanding why Obama would be so respectful of non-national holidays such as "Ramadan" while he belittles Easter and Christmas is that his worldview seeks to incorporate a new paradigm -- that of a "Judeo-Christian-Islamic" nation.

Keep in mind that Islam teaches that Jews and Christians are "people of the Book" and warrant more attention than Buddhists (Tiger Woods?) and animists (who Muslims summarily slaughter in Obama's Family homeland of sub-Saharan Africa).

In keeping with the chronological appearance, people like Obama and his lackeys act from a subtext of Islamic superiority. For him, Islam supersedes Christianity. The Bible came before Mohammed, but it was "corrected" by Mohammed.

That is why Obama invites homosexuals to Easter to promote "family" easter egg hunts while denying entry to a single "gay" person at his taxpayer-funded White House Ramadan meal. Islam must be respected; Christians require "teachable moments"

Islamo-Obamism is acceptable to the Left because it bashes Christians and Orthodox Jews.

Obama's innovation is adding "Islam" to "Judeo-Christian." That is Obama's "change we can believe in." Or so he hopes.

Obama is a politician of the Bill Clinton/Tony Blair mould - they are quite happy to say what their immediate audience wants to hear and explain away any adverse reaction by others with vast amounts of arm waving. This style of politics is prevalent in many developed nations and unfortunately quite successful in getting unpleasant authoritarians into power.

America will never be a Judeo-Christian nation so long as it adheres to its Constitution. What it is and likely will be for a very long time is predominately a nation of Judeo-Christians which is naturally reflected in the culture of the country.

The Muslim population has been cultivated by politicians particularly shamelessly here in the UK for good reason - they bring with them a much more cohesive block of voters than other communities these days. Muslim community leaders are ripe for exploiting by politicians.

There is also a major guilt trip at work. For some strands of political thinking, usually left leaning, any perceived imbalance is evidence of discrimination and must be rectified not through promoting equality but through favourable treatment for those who are seen as disadvantaged. It is rarely well meaning but just a means to an end - authority for the sake of authority.

Hello and thank you for your comment.

I agree. What James Burnham called the Managerial Class has supplanted the old order rooted in Noblesse Oblige and a reverence for the past (or at least paying lip service to the past)

Setting up distinct/loyal voting blocs is essential to gaining and keeping power. This is the impetus for the flood of illegal aliens from Mexico in the US.
