Democrats Arrested:Media Silent
Los Angeles local news has broadcast footage of the arrest of multiple politicians from the City of Bell.
Every one of them is a Democrat.
No mention was made of their political party or the fact that they represent a city that is overwhelming populated with illegal (and legal) aliens from Mexico where this type of corruption is expected.
Why are unproven allegations against Christine O'Donnell broadcast as symptomatic of "Tea Party" and "Conservative GOP Evangelical's" unworthiness to hold office while the facts of a local story that has captured national attention spun as a non-partisan issue?
How is it that KTLA characterizes the outrage this way?:
Eight Bell city officials, including the Mayor and former City Manager, were arrested Tuesday following a salary scandal that rocked the working-class city.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley announced the arrests in a morning news conference while residents celebrated the news outside Bell City Hall.
The arrests by the D.A.'s Bureau of Investigation included former City Manager Robert Rizzo; former Assistant City Manager Angela Spaccia; Mayor Oscar Hernandez; Vice Mayor Teresa Jacobo; Councilmembers Luis Artiga and George Mirabal; and former Councilmembers George Cole and Victor Bello.
It is also alleged that Rizzo gave nearly $1.9 million in unauthorized loans to himself, Spaccia, Artiga, Hernandez and dozens of others."We are alleging they used the tax dollars collected from the hard-working citizens of Bell as their own piggy bank, which they looted at will," Cooley said.Prosecutors have charged Hernandez, Jacobo, Mirabal, Cole, Bello and Artiga with nearly two dozen counts of misappropriating approximately $1.2 million of public funds..."
No mention of the affiliation with ACORN,SEIU or the "Tan Klan" of Mecha and La Raza?
These criminal politicians are the rotten fruit of the culture of corruption that is an integral part of the Democrats and their Race based rewards cronyism.

I can remember Barry Goldwater talking about corrupt big city political machines back in 1964 - true. They're much worse now. Big cities are Demoleft-dominated, of course. Now we see corrupt suburbs, too, with no mention of party when it's a Demo. Great column as usual, Elvis.

Is it not funny how-after he shuffled of this mortal coil- Barry Goldwater became a voice of reason amongst the Left?
I wish we had NOT listened when the smeared him along with Pat Buchanan,Ron and Rand Paul and now Christine O'Donnell
