Mugabe,Obama,Muslim Brotherhood and Khomeini: Why Does Our Media Love Them?
Our managed media's predictions are invariably wrong when it comes to politics. I wonder why?
They told us that the racist thug Robert Mugabe would be a great man for Rhodesia- one of the most prosperous nations in Africa. Like Obama, Mugabe went about "punishing" his political opponents by marginalizing them and refering to all opposition as "racism."
Mugabe changed the nation's name from "Rhodesia" to "Zimbabwe" (the Left loves to change names for some odd reason) and from a booming economy to the worst economy in the entire world. Worse than Mexico or Russia or even Cuba.
Please see the documentary "Mugabe and the White African" for an astonishing true story of governmental theives and racist thugs in Africa. A story our media whitewashes and censors.
Our media touted Mugabe and now is silent about his murderous regime because it does not fit the preapproved leftist "script."
Now the media is touting the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood as "moderate"- IMKane points out that :
"The leftist-leaning mainstream media characterize Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood as peaceful and moderate and treat the group's fundamentalist religious connections and extreme ideology with kid gloves. They paint the Brotherhood to be a "relatively peaceful," "non-violent" organization given to "charitable works."
They willfully ignore the group's illustrious résumé, which includes
declaring "jihad" against the U.S.
bombing the 1993 World Trade Center.
taking credit for deadly bombings in Cairo.
sponsoring Hamas.
assassinating Egyptian President Anwar Sadat.
aligning with Nazi Germany.
openly calling for shariah law.
spawning prominent al-Qaida leaders.
In 1979, two weeks after the Iranian revolution returned the Ayatollah Khomeini to Iran, Richard Falk's New York Times op-ed "Trusting Khomeini" argued "the depiction of [Khomeini] as fanatical, reactionary and the bearer of crude prejudices seems certainly and happily false."
Falk, a professor of international law at Princeton University and UN expert on Palestine, also claimed that Khomeini's close advisers were actually a bunch of widely respected, moderate progressives who "shared a notable record of concern for human rights."
Once Khomeini seized power, he proved Falk's op-ed nothing more than willful delusion. The Ayatollah actually was an anti-Semitic Islamist fanatic, and he turned Iran's mostly secular revolution into a brutal Islamic theocracy.
By downplaying the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamic extremist ties and violent past, the leftist network news media, like their Times predecessor, are promoting a willful delusion. When the Brotherhood seizes power and imposes theocratic fascism on Egypt, ABC, NBC and CBS news organizations will have played a prominent role."
